Do you think censorship is needed for anime/manga?

If it's airing on a streaming service no, just put an age-rating and a warning for sex, violence, nudity and profanity. If it's on TV then it depends on the time-slot. If it's late night then no, if not then yes. Usually these anime release the uncensored version on Blu-ray. If I remember correctly Tokyo Ghoul initially aired the censored version and then the uncensored version was released later.

There is something funny in my country. There was a time when Evangelion aired on TV, it was aired at 1 am and still get censored. Like wth haha.. kinda stupid
Eva has a bit of violence but everything else isn't that gratuitous right? It's dark on a more psychological level.Poseidon said:

In some cases i think is over exaggerated, like with some blood, like, what do you expect if you get shot? to have a pink liquid pour from the wound? Or if you drink too much alcohol, do you really hope you'l vomit a rainbow? And is not like naked scenes in anime deserve that sunlight ray or over the top mist! is just a "human" body! XD

I don't think the content itself should be censored or avoided, but if it were to air in a less than ideal place, then yes censor it.
