Do you think anime would be mainstream if there was an Western channel dedicated?

Well, it will get even more popularity this way.
So, what do you guys think about it? Do you agree with this as well?
 
If anime is shown like normal TV shows like they showcase other TV series, it could've given children most importantly joy cos they love cartoon network a lot.
 
Yes, probably but it is very unlikely to happen for 2 reasons. 1 there are already several video streaming services dedicated to anime as well as it being available through prime, Netflix, and Hulu on same day as Japan release. 2 even network TV shows are starting move to streaming release only leaving the network airspace for live event broadcasts.

Personally, I believe that it's definitely going to be a very good popularity booster for anime but at what cost is the question we should be asking. What would it cost the anime industry to get to such heights?
