Do you think anime will ever be deeper than real TV series?

I am sure it all comes to one's own opinion at the end
So, do you think an anime can be compared to a very good TV series? Like Supernatural or Zombie detective etc.,

it can be lol
but i am sure if one think it's not that deep, then we can't say much lol. it depends on people too and the anime and their preference.

I think there are times anime could be considered deep but a lot of the attempts are wasted on convoluted stories, poor pacing or just bad writing in general. I think there's a greater chance of an anime movie being deep than a series.

If you think it's deep then it's just your opinion only. I am sure it's the same for everyone.
