Do you think all the living creatures need Oxygen?

Can anything survive with some other gas? Do you think it can happen?
Only if something survives other gas, we can have aliens

I'm sure in time, from a day or hundreds to millions of years, something will come about from mutation or science gone wrong.

I was about to say plants but they respire too and only during daytime, they take carbon dioxide.
Water is important for the survival of any species

is this a trick question? aliens can be very alive and be somewhere and we can't reach them and we don't have the tech for it. do you get what i am saying? there has to be aliens somewhere.

That article is awesome man . Who would have thought the oxygen is a waste product and killed bacteria like that?
I wouldn't have thought it's even possible and bacteria creating oxygen is just unbelievable man.

I agree and I like the formation of multi cellular organisms

Glad you like it. It's not that unbelieveable though.

an anaerobic organism can live without oxygen. some organisms like obligate anaerobes can't live in the presence of oxygen, basically, oxygen kills them.

That's news to me.
I was under an assumption that all the living beings need oxygen.
I wonder where they survive that doesn't have oxygen.

I read that in the link BurnsyCEO gave me. During the oxidation, many bacteria died in the process.
Even now plants follow the same process as the bacteria which pumped the oxygen billions of years ago.
