Do you suddenly gain an interest in an anime/manga series after seeing good AMV/MMV?

As for me, it doesn't really matter unless the visuals are too confusing.
Then I would want to know more about the series. Is it the same for you guys?

i think i watched many anime because of amv
they are so mysterious and i love all about them and i had to watch the series if i haven't watched it yet

I got put off of AMV’s because for years on YouTube it got associated with Naruto vs Sasuke with a Linkin Park song.

That's just fan base trying to make others watch it too
It usually makes many others watch it, if the AMV is really good with cool effects

It depends upon the AMV. I love to watch deep dark movies and hence if the music and video provides a good trailer, I would surely put that on watchlist.
