But I am not entirely sure as some anime can have characters from other countries as well

I am pretty sure I don't share my name with any significant anime characters, even though animes have been portrayed on characters with Irish last names before. If I did, I probably would be surprised, but not want to stick to the show, just because of a name share with a character.
