Word-of-mouth especially for on-going anime since there's literally no other basis for it unless you are watching it for the heck of it.

i started watching couple of anime like that as well and sometimes i was disappointed too
MadaraUchiha said:Well it's a combination of things for me, usually seasonal anime that are popular have a couple of viral clips that hook you. Zombieland Saga for example had a death metal scene in episode 1 and a rap scene in episode 2 that were phenomenal.
