That's a valid point and today's anime doesn't give importance to character and plot development. The animators only care about creating something that makes money through visuals, fan service and music.
 
There are a few classics like Ronin warriors and Gundam Wing that always has a place in my heart, no matter how bad it is by today's standards.
 
I absolutely have nostalgia bias and I know because I am capable of favouring series I didn't even got to immerse myself properly like Slayers or I watched so long ago like The Vision of Escawflowne that I was too young to fully grasp at the time and yet makes me say things like it being a great isekai before isekai was a thing a and that I crave more stories like that one. Honestly, for all I know if I watch it again it might not be nearly as cool as I remember it but for me they are classics I hold dear.

When it comes to the LatAm dub I have a lot of bias towards certain voices being certain characters.

i remember clarry going on and on about slayers i think i watched it.
but i don't remember. guess what i am gonna go watch it lol
