Do you hate having friends who only wants to talk but refuses to listen?

i think we were good friends but i don't know from when, this friend calls me only to talk
she wouldn't want to listen to anything that's going on in my life and she will keep interrupting me if i wanted to say something.
didn't notice this before until now and i feel so stupid
i haven't cut her out of my life yet as i just wanted to know if it's normal or not
 
Sounds like you need to have a heart to heart conversation about effective communication. You're being trampled on, or even possibly ignored. True friends don't do that.

I get why she's doing this. She has something that she's excited about that she needs to unload. I do it all the time whenever I have that feeling of excitement, like I just did a thing! But I'm usually just shouting in to the Void of the Internet, because well, people are sparse in my life currently.

Let me see if I understand this correctly: you listen to her and you give her advice about her problems. Then you try to talk about your problems and she interrupts you. So, what happens if you tell her, "stop interrupting me, I have things I want to tell you"?
 
Never encountered such a thing before.
Don't try to put up with this and it's not worth it. A true friend would never do this, Angel.
