Do you hate having friends who only wants to talk but refuses to listen?

i think we were good friends but i don't know from when, this friend calls me only to talk
she wouldn't want to listen to anything that's going on in my life and she will keep interrupting me if i wanted to say something.
didn't notice this before until now and i feel so stupid
i haven't cut her out of my life yet as i just wanted to know if it's normal or not

Sounds like you need to have a heart to heart conversation about effective communication. You're being trampled on, or even possibly ignored. True friends don't do that.

I get why she's doing this. She has something that she's excited about that she needs to unload. I do it all the time whenever I have that feeling of excitement, like I just did a thing! But I'm usually just shouting in to the Void of the Internet, because well, people are sparse in my life currently.
