Do you hate/dislike emotionless anime characters?

i am sure most of the people think they are cool and all but if you meet them in real life, i am sure most of us would end up hating them and i have been wondering lol
 
I don't really care about them one way or the other.
To be honest, I try to not get emotionally attached to Anime and it's just a form of entertainment and nothing more
 
I guess there is instances where they can be cool, but they often just come across as edgelords or whiny to me so I don't tend to like them too much.
