Do you guys feel disappointed if you are mother can't make time for your birthday?

This time my mom got stuck with some work and she couldn't be there for me on my birthday. I am so hurt that she said we can celebrate it later...... Damn....am I being too childish?
 
No but considering I've never actually celebrated my birthday like how others do I can't say I know how it feels.

Thank you scarlet....if being a grown up involves staying away from your family...I would rather be a naive child. I hate stuff like this

we all get along nice i just don't celebrate it i see no need to personally
