Do you google for the references you come across in anime?

I don't often do this but I have searched for some references in anime, out of curiosity.
Do you do the same?

Yup if it's very interesting, i googled so much when i watch Ghost Hound

not all the time.
only when i see other people trying to figure it out, i search those anime references

Sometimes, most of the time I get what most anime is throwing out there.

I don't google based on the anime, however, whenever I read manga, I'll always read the end notes in the back of the book!
