Do you get angry when people claim that anime and cartoons are the same thing?

i am sure not many of us take action on that
but what do you think about this? do you actually get angry when people say they are the same?

The irony is when people get angry because “cartoons are for children” and “anime is for adults”. Though ironically they watch a ton of battle anime which is targeted at children.

lol not all the battle anime are targets for children lol
and hellsing, tokyo ghoul are intense. but i can see that with one piece and other main shonen anime.
