Do you feel that you 'should' read the manga of your favorite anime?

I don't go out of my way to read the manga unless the anime intrigues me enough to pick the manga.
Just because I appreciate an anime, doesn't mean I would want to follow up the manga story as well. Is it the same for you guys?

I am not obliged to just because I like an anime.
If someone thinks I should read the manga because I like anime, I would just ignore them

It's up to individual and unless one would want to read the manga, they doesn't have to pick one, just because they like the same and it makes no sense to me

I really should, I don't think any anime fully adapts a manga page to page to anime form.

I do feel like I should get around to reading My Hero Academia at some point. I'd also like to read the Death Note manga at some point too, I've heard it ends differently than the anime does.

Considering my favorite anime, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is an original work. There was some manga created for an alternate reality later.

But I like to read the books that movies are based on, so I'd read the manga that anime is based on...eventually.
