Like not being able to relate the discussion pattern and all?
I am sure you must have had moments like that. So, what do you guys think?

At times you might be drifted away forgotten how such anime series or movie is heading to. You can only understand the the main play' when you're attentive. Even in anime movies you ought to pay close attention to get derivative to explain what the movie is all about.

There have been times where I happen to drift. Not the most pleasant thing, since it forced me to rewatch stuff to get up to date.

I've never identified myself with any community other than this one and I have drifted away a lot compared to when I was new but I think I'm pretty static now for a few years when it comes to how much I interact here and I don't see it changing in the near future.

Only like 10 years ago, but only for online communities. Prior to Crunchyroll coming out, most anime communities online were almost exclusive to the popular battle anime that were shown on TV. So it was irritating trying to find a community that didn’t only cared about like… at best the same 10 shows.

If I found a community that watched anything else, usually the people weren’t fun to talk to. I just wanted to talk about shows I liked, I didn’t care about getting into lengthy debates over which fansub you were supposed to watch, and how you’re watching anime wrong because of what software you used to watch the downloaded episodes.

Personally, I really believe that it's something that is normal in a way because the human mind actually pull a trick and surprise you in a way that would shock you. So, it's something that I believe would be able to happen to anyone.
