that's true Renji does come off as a sibling at the start but you can notice small changes throughout bleach, and if you look at the relationship between rukia and ichigo it's more or less like rukia is ichigo's (and family's) savior and mentor so i can't go shipping them wholeheartedly even later in the story.

i didn't think of it like that at first. but when ichigo went to save her at that shinnigami world, that's the deal to me.

that's entirely understandable but then again wouldn't you save a family member or a close friend when they're in need?

all-in-all Ichigo essentially died to save his family rukia granted him that ability he repaid that life-dept <-that's how i see it

later on Ichigo saves orihime but in the process dies, other than being a close friend did he have another reason if we don't count any type of dorment affection for her?

(as a side note to respect renji, the poor bugger was pressured by responsibility to capture rukia so he couldn't choose personal feelings over duty)

yea that can be a factor, but when i enjoy an anime/manga like bleach i tend to look into things a bit too much. i love all the characters in bleach so i'm neutral if not a bit biased to some lmao

oh i'd prefer sub but if i'm not staring at the screen i'd miss the sub-titles and have to rewind, that's why i love manga i control how quick i progress instead of having to rewind if that makes sense
