Do you ever associate certain foods with an anime?

i have never done that
it's still all new to me and i do know i would think of zoro to onigiri and luffy to meat.
 
This is certainly an odd thread man.
I am not sure if I have ever associated any dish to any anime character so far.
 
why not kaname?
there are many people who likes certain dishes in anime and even naruto likes ramen so much.
 
I can't think of the reason man.
It doesn't sound a good enough reason for me, if you know what I mean.
 
Sometimes, mainly when i've grown to love the series. I can't exactly name them off cause i'm forgetful but whenever i see x food i think of x character.

ye the only one i can think of right now is ichigo from bleach as a strawberry

but why? i don't remember him being a joke there? wasn't he got called orange head before?

actually that's incorrect, there's many jokes mainly from the author himself, Bleach's First and last chapters are called "Death and Strawberry"

i personally think it's amazing, mainly cause it's how i personally saw it ending (Not the exact same way mind you but in a simaler fasion)

Tite Kubo has announced a few times he was rushed to end bleach so some things weren't exactly finished the way he wanted but if i recall he was happy with the outcome. Some of bleach's audiance was really upset understandably but Tite could not do much to satisfy everyone.

my ship sunk from the get go and i should have realized it earlier. that's just sad. but orihime and ichigo?

yeah, i didn't ship anyone that was a soul reaper to a human, i just didn't think it was a wise idea. Alot of people hated that tite went with the most linear ships but did people want him to adjust his story to satisfy them? lol my personal favorite characters are Tatsuki Arisawa and Yasutora Sado they just have the best synergy in my opinion.

but ichigo could have been soul reaper too.
and it's not like rukia couldn't come to the lviign world often and it left me with a bad taste.

yea that's understandable but
Ichigo is a Quincy and we all know the soul-reapers takes on quincys'

i do agree on Rukia x Ichigo being the most obvious ship given their synergy but at the same time Orihime's personality compliments ichigo's too much for me to say otherwise. Mind you i shipped Ichigo and Orihime early on especially after the June arc.

that's so sad
i was hoping it would be rukia and ichigo and rukia would never allow ichigo to allow at him and she wouldn't backdown from hitting him! they would have been perfect.

would have been interesting but Ichigo mellows out so much so i think Orihime's a better option. but it would have been a different story if ichigo kept his hot-headedness
