Do you do anything to hype yourself up for a new anime?

i am sure there are ways to make yourself excited to watch some particular anime based on the hype. for me, that would be amv's

If I like something then I would watch it or if it's recommended to me. If not, I wouldn't want to pick it up

and sometimes its just hard to get along with some community and we wouldn't have much of a choice lol
