Do you care if a serious anime got lots of fan-service?

Fan-service can't be used excessively for a good story. Imagine Death note having too many fan-service moments. I feel like for these anime, fan-sevice would be like the plot destroyer.

I do care and fanservice should be moderate in anime but if it's excessively used, it can only be considered bad and the plot would be derailed and not many people would like that.

For serious anime, it should absolutely be limited in nature. If it's a less serious anime, or it breaks the fourth wall every now and then, then there's no big deal in fanservice, but serious ones should be limited as much as possible. Let the story be the story.
