Do you care about the gender of the main protagonist?

does it matter to you?
like at all lol. for me it doesn't really matter but when i feel like I haven't been watching any anime with female protagonists, i would pick particular anime lol
 
Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.
When I watch an interesting anime with a female protagonist, I usually try to look for more anime with female protagonists.

we see female protagonists in other genres but not so much in shonen
 
Honestly I never paid much attention and I don't get why people care about the gender unless they want to prove one gender is superior to other.
