Yeah he was kinda wasteless but I think so woon isn't gona be king for long again. ..he seems to be ill .
As for the rulers thing i think it's their responsibility as well.

do you remember king riku from akastsuki no yona?> because of him many people suffered and he is not bad.
 

Yes I do remember and it's kinda sad in a way since he just wanted to govern with peace and no violence but in doing so brought more suffering and pain. I think as a good leader one must know when to stand strong and when to back down. .I also acknowledge though that this is easier said than done

you are absolutely right
and minimum violence is required to protect and people should be protected as well.

A leader can't do things by himself
Still, it's his responsibility to make sure his peers are all right. I do agree with that

I agree 100 percent and that's why they should have a trusted and carefully selected group to help them attain this goal

Exactly and they should monitor those people themselves.
They shouldn't make assumptions about the ruling at all.

I suppose you are right..although I would prefer no violence but I guess there are some people that might need to be violently dealt with due to their nature..sad but true

They need some eligibility to become a king and not just Royal bloodline.

Exactly my point and even if blood line comes into play then there right hand people should be still chosen carefully

yep and also if they don't have the belly for getting rid of the bad eggs in their teams then I would say that they have no business trying to rule

and you can't deny when it comes to kingdoms, violence is needed to protect it and without any army the kingdom will fall.

That's true and perhaps it's why it gets so hard for rulers to be fair to everyone. ..as the saying goes you can't please everyone. .it's not possible

and i don't think everyone needs to be pleased but the majority of the people needs to be pleased
