Do you believe unique anime are rare?

I do believe that is the case. Most of the time, stories are similar and unique anime are rare.
What do you guys think?

and if you are talking about one genre, then it's not entirely fair and you can't get uniqueness for genres like slice of life

In this thread, I am referring to unique anime like the first anime from Isekai, Death note, Psycho pass etc.,

because even though there are things in anime, but the anime world is unique, if it's a fantasy world.

Still, I believe the concept in not new. Like after watching AOT, you wouldn't feel that god eater anime is unique.
