Do the opinions of people around an anime affect your viewing experience of that anime?

For me....that's a yes.
I just can't help but take note of others opinions as well. What about you guys?

Depends on the thoughts, but most don't sway me really.

It’s only if people are super annoying about it. That one person who keeps pushing it on you just makes me want to do it less.

Yes and no. Someone telling me an anime is really good might catch my interest enough to check it out even if it's not my usual type. But someone saying that an anime is bad won't stop me from checking it out or enjoying it if it turns out to be something I like.

Depend on the people. If i see them as competent maybe i'd hear they opinion
