Did you had trouble remembering the names of characters when you watched the first ?

so did you have a hard time? i am sure that's how it is for me. and now i remember them easily lol but i have a hard time pronouncing them even now.

At first yes. Japanese names are just hard to pronounce and remember.
However, now they are all easy to remember and you see plenty of names getting repeated in anime.
