Did you ever give up on anime, leave, but come back eventually?

I have done it many times.
There are times when I get bored of watching and try to do something new and after sometime will find my way back to anime.
Did it happen to you?

I did that and I will do that ...most probably.
Sometimes I do get tired of the same concept being overused or something else and I usually drop all the anime and after awhile, I usually come back to it

I have done it before and I might do it again too but there is no guarantee that you would always pick anime again, after not watching it for years.
