well I saw a good copy around the internet :D


Still I didn't like the voice of pikachu somehow a cute little thing like pikachu sounds weird with a grown up voice.

But it's truly an amazing movie!
I don't mind more live actions like that ^_^

do you think a child voice would have been better?
i agree it's weird to see pikachu having a voice like that but a child hood for a detective might not be good
 
I watched this over the weekend and it was alright. Like not bad not great, something you can watch without having to think too much and it's sorta fun. The human characters are all pretty generic, the villain has the same motivation as any other fantasy movie and the action sequences were a bit one-note and bland. But the Pokemons were the best part of the movie.

What I don't get is why people are complaining about Pikachu's voice. It has the voice of Tim's father. And it's also Deadpool's voice, how can you not find it to be awesome?

Let me guess, you were never a huge fan of pokemon right?

It matters because although there were some faults a true fan would see past them to the true charisma of the movie
 
Well, i just wanted to add that i saw this movie a while back, and i really enjoy it, but something just kept bugging me, and is that they didn't use a lot of pokemon in the movie, you can see the same 3 or 4 pokemon almost everywhere over and over again, I know, the time and budget didn't allow more pokemon, but to me that seems like a wasted opportunity D: specially for not including my favorite Pokemon of all time Scizor XD
 

That's not what I meant. I was just saying that inspite of those flaws the movie was pretty amazing anyways
Ash was different and so were some pokemons but it was still able to work..i just wish he still had his hat though

There were a lot of different pokemon but the few which you speak of were the lead in the movie. I don't think I saw Scizor though..but there was gigly puff and snorlax and charazard and so many others

Were you intended to say that Pikachu's voice are not supposed to be awesome but it should be cute?

Given that I found none of the humans to be interesting and the action uninspiring I guess I don't feel that way.

Not really. .I mean his voice is obviously different but I don't have any problems with it

For one I don't know why you keep calling him Ash. Anyway I didn't find him to be charismatic or engaging enough. Be sure to vote in the poll.
