Deleting a password protected folder.

There is a software called "unlocker".

Install it and run the program.Now right click on the protected folder and select the unlocker option.It will give you the processes related to that folder.Kill those processes and then try to delete it again.Otherwise unlocker also provides delete option.

I use Take Ownership. It will unlock folders I need to get to, or clear them from being locked so I can delete them.
 
Interesting... But why would you have a password-protected folder that you want to delete anyways?

Well, sometimes because of some background running process, you can't delete stuff either. This tool comes in handy even in those situations :D
