I remember seeing this game announced and so many people including myself were excited about the game. When the game was released there was a lot of disappointment due to the issues after they released it as they seemed to release it due to being pushed by the fans rather than waiting for them to be ready for the game to be released. I know they did things to fx the issues that plagued the release but I think it was too little too late after a while.

I always maintained the core game is great when everyone was hating on it and I didn't have any trouble looking past the performance issues and bugs to see what was beyond and that's why I enjoyed it even on release. Bugs can be fixed, but if the core game is crap there's no hope for the game. This turnaround in terms of reviews is only possible in the former case and with a sustained effort to actually fix things.
