But yes you are right, Lots of people are selfish, this actually stops progress.
If people are making money of something, they dont want things to change, if those things wont make them money.
Probably something in every industry like this, the Energy sector is a big one for example.
Technically anything can be a source of energy if used in the right way / under right conditions.
Its just a matter of finding the way and the right conditions which is the hard part.

yes that's true.
i have heard how some things are always kept hidden because people can't make money off of the current things like some diseases and such but i have no proof. but if this is actually true. it's just too cruel

most likely true at the high level to some degree, it might just be small progress or they may stop funding etc has been happening probably for a very long time now. Like Nikola Tesla had his funding taken away etc

true and i think humans are only such selfish creatures in this world.
we are causing harm to earth and harm ourselves too
