lol yes
it's hard to find genuine people on this day and age. dogs do scare me sometimes.
there are horror stories where the dogs attacked without any provocation. i would advice you to not to sleep with dogs and don't touch them when they are asleep, dav
yeah it can be thats for sure.
its normally not due to the owner doing something to make the dog react.
It could be lack of training / boundaries / fear / or some sort of neurological issues / disease.
In most cases i feel like there is a trigger, but at the time of it happening its hard to know what has caused this to happen.
For example i had a family member and one of her dogs was lovely to everyone but started to be aggressive, they went through all sorts of training but couldn't fix it.
It turned out he had some sort of log term injury and needed surgery to fix it, once they fixed it, it resolved the issue.
sometimes its not obvious what the cause is, but i think more than 90% of the time there is a trigger, its not just a random attack for no reason.
You have to remember unfortunately they cannot talk to us and tell us their problems, have to try and read them.
If they know what they can / cant do, this should negate most of the issues.
For example if i'm in my room relaxing, they often come unto the bed and will ask for permission if they can go onto it.
i only let them if its properly made up to avoid any mess like dirt as who knows what they have been doing outside, as long i chuck a blanket on top i will let them chill while i relax.
Only time they show any sort of aggression is when they are scared of a big dog, their fur goes up and they will bark at the dog because they are scared.
they wont actually attack, its just their mechanism to tell the other dog to stay away, because they are scared, they saw a lovely white Husky / some type of wolf dog. they were very scared of it, poor things.
