I didn't expect fair results but this contest is soooo shit. Nothing but BnHA across the board.

I knew it'd a popularity contest but honestly the only upsets are Best Film and Best fight scene. I mean I've not seen other films so I can't comment but All Might vs All for One is definitely not the best fight from season 3 itself let alone that list. Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki is head and shoulders above every single fight. I'm kinda fine with all the other winners.

Both because of popularity. Everybody has a netflix account and this awards show is relevant mostly in the USA anyway so most people are bound to have watched both. The BnHA film did make a lot of money there.
As far as Best Girl is concerned it's recency bias honestly, but I am surprised that Zero Two isn't here she's arguably more popular than any girl from the nominees.

Nobody else had the self discipline to only vote for the categories they know something about.

This is at least not as bad as 2016 when Yuri on Ice won everything, including OP and best animation over Mob Psycho which is leagues ahead in both categories, and YoI itself featured a lot of ugly CGI.

Well, I haven't been watching the latest anime so, I can't really say much.
Still, even I heard about Boku no hero academia, All might's fight.

My feelings man.
I expected better results than that. How could people even select anime, which are just bad?

Which result are you talking about?

I heard about that, but I was hoping things might be better. Any further years I won't even bother looking at the results, just the contest itself.

Golden kamuy man.
I don't like it at all and even I know people who hate it and I don't get why it's so popular

Well if it's a Crunchyroll like MHA they can do it but Netflix shows like Devilman or VeG can't exactly be gauged.
But that does sound better yes.

That's why they shouldn't use the audience at all except for "people" choice awards. The oscars don't that's why it's prestigious.

Yeah but let's see what they do this year it's been a shitshow from them so far with no host, trying to introduce a new category(facepalm: most popular film) and withdrawing and worst of all not broadcasting best editing and cinematography (and withdrawing that as well).

Wait, MEGALOBOX is a 2018 anime? I thought with its look it was a 90s anime. Damn.

Anyways, I agree with the best ending choice for music. Everything else is meh.
