Copying one anime

I came across very similar anime, that the script might have copied from anime to another. People believed that god eater was taken from attack on titan, which doesn't make any sense but there are other anime, that fits into this category. Do you think people should be punished for copying other anime's concept?
 
About a year and half ago in the fall and winter anime seasons, there was two shows focused on battle schools which people with special abilities battled for their future with a very cursed male main character that was loved by a high status female in both animes.


Not going to lie, that is kind of a waste of animation really.
 
God eater and kabaneri of the iron fortress both seem like clones if you watch only the first episode but they branch out soon enough. If any one was plagiarizing the other it would be stopped while it was still in manga.
 
I find the first 6-7 episodes of Seirei no Moribito and Akatsuki no Yona to be identical, though Seirei no Moribito was older, and it was executed much much better.
Plus, God Eater may seem like Attack on Titan at first, but as Burnsy said, it branches to its own.

However, Kabaneri was marketed as an Attack on Titan clone. It was done by the same director, studio and core staff. It's also an original anime, FYI, and is getting a sequel soon.

I also kinda find a lot of similarities between Hunter x Hunter and Naruto, at least during the inital arcs.
 
If it's the same till the end, then people always would like the first anime that came out and they wouldn't care about the manga's release dates.

I have not seen God Eater yet, usually Kabaneri is compared to Attack on Titan for being a clone/copy cat.

People said shit about good eater when it was ariring and they had to stop it for those fuckers to cool down and it would never get a second season

That language might get you banned. AOT is the god of anime and copying that is highly punishable crime. Not my words

i never got banned and i haven't done anything wrong for getting banned. i don't say that it's a god anime but it's good.
