I thought Legend of the Legendary Heroes was hilarious. I didn't quite understand the story but it was only the first season so....

I +1 this. Only watched a bit of season 1 but what I watched was very funny.

One Piece used to be funnier a few years ago. It may still be light-hearted, but I don't think it focuses as much on comedy as it used to. Maybe the writers just ran out of ideas for funny scenes.
