Christmas Lights and decorations

When do you put these up? My mom wants her tree up at the begining of december and well i just do everything else around that time
 
i do them two or three days before the christmas day. i don't get a very big tree and decorating is easy for me. i know people who get a very large tree and keeps decorating it for hours.
 
The older I get the less I do in the Christmas season sure I still celebrate it but I don't go all out with decorations and stuff.

it's fun to decorate it and you will get your christmas spirit back . i like christmas and i spend my time in merry during that time
 

ok cool. Last minute kinda thing huh. Nice I dont have a big tree but I do love decorating it. Have you ever had an actual pine tree?

Why not though? I mean I get miserable and stuff but I love to decorate, takes my mind of of stuff and also makes me remember old days

yes. when i very young and i liked it a lot. but now they are expensive and rare to get. do yo like pine trees? don't you think you need to very careful when decorating it?

My dad use to hunt so when I was a kid he and my uncles would go out and get pine tree branches for us..it makes the house smell so nice but the needles use to drive my mum mad. We didnt have an artificial tree till I was 10 i think lol but it was very fun and we only ended up getting an artificial one cus one year it rained and we couldnt get one and my mum got angry and we were sad. My dad has always done his best to keep us happy. I miss him sooo much

needles are bad and kids always get hurt and you can't keep them from a tree which is dazzling to their eyes. i am sorry about your dad. i miss my childhood sometimes.

Nah it wasn't that bad and the needles weren't really that sharp also my parents were super careful. Thanks it's been 4 years and I still miss him so much. I also miss my childhood days

my memories of pine tree are needles and it's been a long time since i had an actual pine tree at my place. everything got smoother because of the artificial trees.

lol I guess so. You just take it out when you are ready and put it up lol but I do love the scent of that tree. It makes it feel like it's actually Christmas. I would love to get just a branch to get that scent into my home

i like it too but i don't want to do more work.
i am good with an artificial tree but yes you are right. it will be nostalgic to have that smell again

I actually enjoy decorating our tree though. I look forward to it each year
