If you don't know, Child's Play is about a doll that has turned evil. The original movie was due to a man on the run using voodoo to turn himself into a doll to become immortal. This one however, is about a man in a sweatbox creating a doll. He got shouted at by his boss (we've all been there) and he somehow turned into a master coder and managed to turn a doll evil by using code on his computer. He then went on to kill himself. There story obviously leads from there
Child's Play. A classic horror from back in the day, unfortunately, this movie ruined it for me. This was supposed to be a serious "remake" of the original movie and i went into it expecting to be scared. Instead, i spent more time laughing. Some may say this is a good thing but this was a movie that made children be terrified of their toys and dolls for many years. Some of the special effects from deaths were pretty good. But Chucky himself looked terrible, which is surprising as he is the main character.
I'm going to have to go through and watch the entire Child's play series again just to remember how good they were back in the day
The whole movie just seemed very, simple?
I personally gave this movie a 5/10. It would be less if i didn't laugh throughout
