Charging a laptop without using adapter

There are some options and I have tried all of them.. No luck so far.
Anyone here succeeded in doing this before?

Have some solar panels, connect them to the laptop,  keep it in front of the sun, and see if it disperses energy.

I don't have any solar panels and I highly doubt I could get them early either.
I do have a powerbank, phone charger.... But they are not working.....

Ugh Google it.. There are some tips but my laptop is a very old model and it doesn't have a type c Port.
So I can't do much anymore.
