Characters who are strong only when something happens

like drunken fist. is there a real character, who gets strong by doing something? i don't count fuking popeye

That's pretty much most shonen characters, they do something that gives them that fight winning chance.

There aren't many characters like that but what about cavindish?
He blacks out and becomes powerful with his other personality.

I don't think I have come across any characters like that.

i know some characters too. cavindish is like that. his other personality would emerge if he is unconscious and he will win whatever it is in front of him because of that.
