Characters that drink too much

i don't like them as they get abusive after drinking. i read yaoi and shonen ai and they have too many characters like this. do you think it's good for an anime to have them?

Personally, i'm not a fan of drinking altogether so i don't really enjoy those scenes.

I am a guy yes, but i in general don't like alcohol in real life or in manga so it doesn't matter if a cute girl would make a scene

you never tasted it or you don't like it? in manga usually the scenes are exaggerated

both, i absolutely hate the smell of it and my rule of thumb is if it doesn't smell good doesn't matter if it tastes good i am not drinking or eating it, plus i hate how it makes people act

what about cocktails? they smell good and taste good. that only have light alcohol mixed in it. watch bartender anime to know more

that's good. that are addicting but i need then after a long day at work. that are relaxing and makes everything dreamy

I've never really smelled any alcohol before and I've never even noticed a smell. Maybe if you really get close to smell it but I've never really noticed it before.

I have a strong sense of smell. So the slightest thing i don't like i avoid

at least you are legal to drink. i know minors who are excited to drink but i never know anyone who don't like driving in their 20's
 
Boozers. Let's see.. Tsunade , Hitsugaya's vice captain, Jiraya, Mugen (samurai champloo) , kyoraku etc.. Some of the renowed drinkers in anime

I'm 19 and the legal drinking age is 18 here in Australia and I do drink on some weekends.

i don't count teenagers as adults. they are still young to me and didn't know much.

i was expecting you to get angry at me for saying it. many people don't like me to talk like that but i don't want to hide myself online
 
I know in Fairy Tail and Black Clover they often focus on drunks, usually with them being more on the lighter side of things.
