Finished this very aged anime today, as shown in the video, it is in color, but overlaid with a gritty dark look. What I consider a sister anime to serial experiments lain, the anime is confusing and can be hard to follow, but if you pay attention, rewatch some things, you may come to enjoy the best anime of your life.


Anyone here see this? I see there is a newer and most likely better version called Boogiepop Other.
 
I saw the new one like two years ago but ended up dropping it. It really wasn't as deep or brilliant as it was clearly trying to be.

I thought the story was the same. But even if it's good I struggle to watch any anime nowadays even if I like it so I'm gonna pass.
