Billy vs. Snakeman

Billy vs. Snakeman is an old old browser game that parodied (parodies? I think it's still around) a bunch of anime, and it's actually what mainly got me into anime at all. The main body of the game is based on parodying Naruto, but there are a bunch of different parts of the game that parody other anime like Bleach, .hack, Death Note, Code Geass, Gundam, and a bunch of other stuff. It's a lot of fun, but like most other broser games, it can become a bit of a time drain, which is why I eventually left it. Anyway, I was curious - did anyone here play it?

Hm the link is getting blocked where I m right now. But I might check it out if I remember in like 2 weeks.

it should be easy enough to google. Just look for 'billy vs snakeman', and it should look something like 'animecubed.com/billy'

Oh man, I forgot about this game. I was a huge fan of it back in the day to the point I had the max three accounts, paying money for it and ran my own village even.

Though I mainly left it because me and lots of other people were paying money and the creator was very slow in maintaining the game, plus the userbase was falling apart as well. Seems like it is still kicking though.

Heh, I had two accounts myself, and was doing pretty well too, but eventually I got sick of the time I had to spend on it. Browser games are a huge time sink, and eventually I just got sick of having to spend the time on doing the same thing every day.

that's another reason I left it, I was starting to get into college and had to put time to better things.

never heard of it before.
i would probably check it out.

It *is* fun. Eventually you might run out of stuff to do, but that should only be after months and months of playing. You get to select what kind of ninja you'll be at the start of the game (WhiteEye, RedEye, or Legacy of the Hero, based on Byakugan, Sharingan, or Naruto's abilities) too. For the first time, I highly recommend WhiteEye - it'll make things a lot easier.

thank you and i will remember that.
but white eye is byakugan and it's strange to see it surpassing the sharingan and naruto's abilities, even in a game

It's not really more powerful - the way the game works is that you run through the game once, then restart it and get access to more stuff for a second run with extra stuff and more difficult challenges. Each of these runs is called a season. For your first season WhiteEye helps you find allies and items more easily, whereas RedEye Legacy of the Hero are more suited to more difficult fights in later seasons. But you'll definitely want to do at least one fight with every Bloodline (WhiteEye, Legacy, and RedEye are called 'Bloodlines' and give you different bonuses depending on which one you finish a season with and special content if you finish a season with each one)
