Best thriller anime of all time

Death note is the best thriller anime I have ever watched. I didn't like L's death but that's not by which I would judge it.
Many people didn't like the second half of it.

Death Note is more of a mystery-psychological anime than a thriller, in my opinion. 
My favourite thriller is easily Steins;Gate, followed by Higurashi, Madoka and Shiki.

i got the kick out of who would get killed next.
it's not a thriller anime but better than any thriller anime

I'm not sure which anime I've seen come under thriller but code geass, parasyte and shinsekai yori if they count would be the best.Honourable mention to mirai nikki.
