Most of them nowadays just snag the subs off of Crunchyroll, Funimation or Netflix.

oh i didn't know that
i was so sure that it will be something they have done themselves based on the raw or source

Some of them still do that, but I guess it’s easier to just have someone else do the work for you. Even prior to those sites existing, there were always only like a couple different subs for a show, and the 50+ other subgroups just repackaged the same 3 over and over.

i understand
just one more thing, is it possible to save the subs directly from prime, netflix? my friend tried to save videos and subtitles but it never worked. so you mean they type them after going through them in prime and netflix.

There’s a way, but I’m too lazy to reinvent the wheel when someone else has already done the legwork.

There’s ways to do that through your browser and through third party software. It’s more like why bother when here are torrents available.

my friend shared his amazon prime creds
and i used that for prime video app in my computer. and i tried searching and came me to know about appdata in the temp folder. and there when i go through the files, it doesn't have any sub or srt file. and the mp4 file, its not getting played by other video software too
