Best anime of 2018

What do you think will get picked by most of the people, if all the anime were to compete for this title?
What would you pick?

I would probably pick '[font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. season 2[/font]'
 
I don't think there is one best anime of the whole year but if the people chose I'd say it would probably just be one of the biggest or most popular shows.
 
I want to choose more than one anime. Saiki anime is good but we have Boku no hero academia this year.
There are other anime too and people loved baki.
 
If it's a popularity contest it's gonna be some bad show like fairy tale. If you make it an official contest maybe steins gate 0 or violet evergarden.

Fairy tail has been going on a downward spiral for a long time man. I never expected it to have the popularity.
I think violet evergarden wins the race

It's just an example. It might as well be the new sao anime.
 
i want to choose dakaretai but banana fish is very good. i will go with banana fish. it's a hidden gem.
for fujoshi, i Want to think dakaretai too

Steins Gate 0 sucked, Attack on Titan season 3 is on-break so it's technically incomplete, and while I loved cour 1 of BnHA season 3, cour 2 was, while good enough, not as good as cour 1.

from what i have seen i pegged you to be a very big fan of those series.
didn't think you would get disappointed by them

Not disappointed per se. I found them to be very good, just not the best. Except Steins Gate 0, that sucked.

everyone expected too much from that steins gate 0. many were disappointed because of the story.
i plan to watch it too. i don't want it to spoil the original story. the original anime got a good ending

It won't really change anything per se. After all it's just an alternate version of episode 23 and its continuation.
 
Attack on Titan 3 
I had high expectations for steins; gate 0 but I was disappointed when it ended :(

I've seen A place Further Than The Universe and it wasn't really my thing but I can see it being the top of the year.

It's not just the ending. I don't really care if the ending alone is bad. It's just not very good throughout.

More of a personal thing honestly. I do expect a lot of people to have something like Violet Evergarden or BnHA S3 to be at the top.
Plus Fall isn't over yet, and it's turning out to be my favourite season.
