Like 86% of the IRL people I know are gamers and I've recently gotten into their obsessions, so I wanted to try out Overwatch since it seems interesting and is free for this weekend. I am going to download it (since it's free duh) but like, would it be a good starter game? as a person who doesn't play games at all. No Pc no 360 no ps4 at all

Overwatch is a multiplayer only semi competetive game which probably needs a lot of knowledge of the classes and mechanics to learn to play decently. It's pretty casual compared to some MOBAS and RTSs but still not simple enough that you'll learn enough in one weekend. So unless you're buying it you should spend your time on something else. But who knows you might just love it and get hoked.

haha my parents paid for my siblings PCs and they were like 'ooooh no, you're not going to turn out like them' so :/ yeah I can't

I've been thinking of getting Overwatch as well because it's a bit cheap at the moment because of Black Friday. Just not sure whether I would be ready for it considering most players will already be great and I would be an absolute noob lol.

Overwatch is one of many many types of games you can come to enjoy. Besides shooters I do recommend a good platformer like Crash bandicoot or any RPG series like Persona.
