I watched this film a few hours ago..... Well, I have to say, it's not as bad as all those critics are saying..... I found it to be slightly better than Marvel's The Avengers.....

Are you gonna watch this film? Or have you already watched it? What's your opinion?

I thought it was awesome. Different to every other superhero movie because its not just action and fighting. Theres was a lot of suspense and foreshadowing.Probably need to watch man of steel and know some of the characters which appear to fully enjoy.

I have heard that superman costume had undergone some improvisation and that's what really captured the audience interest.
So, are you talking about that too along with the action and fighting? I believe it's released just yesterday. How did you watch it so soon?

BvS starts exactly where Man of Steel got over, so, yeah, you have to watch it..... And, on top of these, I found the portrayal of Bruce Wayne to be among the best in the series, and if he had avoided making Batman kill, maybe, my vote would be for this film as far as his portrayal his concerned.....

Well, the cinema I watched has the facility of blocking tickets a month before the film gets released, and since this feature was introduced in the month of Feb, not many knew about it..... So, when actual bookings opened on 22nd, my seats were automatically allotted.....

I haven't watched it yet but i did hear it was good....im gonna try to watch it next weekend tho i also can't wait to watch x men apocalypse

Do watch it...... And, I have to be honest, I'm more hyped for Civil War than Apocalypse, because, I wasn't impressed with the trailers..... You gonna watch Civil War?

Yep, and I get that he's all desperate because[spoilers] Darkseid is ruling the world, but, making him kill is too much.... And, yeah, I'm looking forward to the JL movies.... I just hope they would focus on a single plot or a villain after assembling the league.....

i guess i will just have to watch it myself and judge it ^_^

There are many people who said that it is a disappointment in the movie world.
Many people doesn't like to watch two heroes fight

I haven't watched it yet. What movies do I have to watch to watch this one? I don't really keep up with anything DC related aside from the TV shows.

I believe that if you watch Man of Steel you should be good to go, Kamikaze.

I just watched it a few hours ago. It is entertaining. I'd recommend to borrow it from a friend once it comes out in DVD.
If you are already interested in the movie then the Movie ticked might be worth it for some of the action.

SEMI -SPOILERS
Some moments were very well pulled out. Some casting in my opinion was off, but Batman was pretty well done. I share Madara's observation regarding glossing over about his oath to never kill, and since Superman destruction is part of his motivation to confront him, it kind of seems hypocritical.

The guy making Lex is a brilliant actor but the role of Lex completely changed the character and while he gave a very entertaining performance, he was also very cringey to me as I couldn't see him as Lex Luthor with all his demeanor.

I agree about lex. It felt so strange.
The batman they showed in the movie was was an old war veteran who must have seen a lot of good people die or become evil and maybe that can cause a person to break their oaths.Staying in gotham can do that.

Well, as Kaynil said, you need to watch Man of Steel, because the film starts directly where MoS left off..... And, you need to have some knowledge about DC villains......

Well, IMO, Lex's portrayal one of the few things I didn't like in the movie..... He's supposed to be serious and 'normal' in the open(maybe like Bruce), but, they tried to show him like a mild version of the Joker.....

While I do agree with you, I still can't digest it..... Also, people won't be able to understand the 'vision' if they don't have some knowledge in DC, imo, so, maybe they could have teased Darkseid in a better way......

Giving how people are being divided with the movie, I think it is the smart move not to spend money on it until you have watched it and decided yourself if you like it that much.

It is udnerstandable that a mature Batman would take less risks, but the problem is not so much him not keeping his oath as the justification to be on a tirade against Superman is because he can be destructive when he is pretty destructive himself, even (and specially) when not fighting against him? Doesn't it make the 1% probability speech a tad hypocritical?
Speaking of Batman, I loved that bat-like movement in the ceiling to escape. :3

I completely agree with you. It is why it was so cringey to me. Lex is a businessman type of villain that basically owns the city. He doesn't need to be intimidating in a "I'm a unpredictable psychopath" kind of way because he is, like you said, a serious guy that has henchman and resources to get what he wants without being directly the one on the arena.

I enjoyed it, although some parts felt a bit forced and out of place...not sure how to even explain myself but what ever . i don't mind when they change characters up a bit and make it their own instead of staying true to comics. So i enjoyed lexes psychoness (it did go a little over board at the end though) and batman took getting used to because of personal taste, but he did a brilliant job. It felt almost like a batman movie with extra characters at one point XD anyways, was enjoyable....and i know most dont care for going into the action but i loved this batmans fighting style
