A surprisingly good manga. The main theme is cooking but there are more than that, slice of life and drama also give this manga unique color.
The story is about Ban Shogo, a young guy who want to become top chef, he work on Italian restaurant at Roppongi Tokyo. The story develop into his struggle chasing his dream and his relationship with his coworkers. Talk about coworkers, they are not just some minor support characters, some of them have interesting back story and the author give some portion to write a story about them and their personal struggle, so we got a lot to read here.
Of course.. as a cooking manga we will get lot of references about cooking technique, but more than that this manga also show us a lot about restaurant management, so we can take a glimpse about the office and kitchen life behind a restaurant.
Overall.. this manga is a good read, and you can give it a try some times.
