Bad eye/ maljue

Ok so it's kinda far fetched for some but I'm still asking. Do you believe in this? I surely do as I have seen it already. So how about you?

It is believed that by looking at you some people can cause you to have headaches and stuff. It's called maljue or evil eye. For example in indian movies elder ladies use the term may no one cast an evil eye on you. I'm surprised that you never heard of this?
