BurnsyCEO said:Karma and nagisa are the best characters in the show.
Nameless said:I like karma. He is smart and only a little bloodthirsty.
I don't know much about nagisa
BurnsyCEO said:Just see how much character development they get from start to finish.
Nameless said:Cool man.
Have you watched both seasons?
Star_Of_Hope said:Well, nagisa might be the main protagonist for this anime.
Karma doesn't have much screentime unlike nagisa.
BurnsyCEO said:Did you watch dub or sub back then and now?
MadaraUchiha said:Sub. I generally avoid dubs unless it's something people don't shut up about, like Yuu Yuu Hakusho or FLCL.
It probably has to do with the fact that I sort of took a break from watching anime so it didn't really sit well with me.
BurnsyCEO said:That might be why. The dub really brings out the best of the show. Probably too late to switch now.
MadaraUchiha said:Well it functions more like an ensemble, slightly better than even My Hero Academia and I like that about it.
Star_Of_Hope said:I didn't expect that sort of compliment for it.
I wonder if you would choose assassination classroom over boku no hero academia at the end.
I don't remember the second season all that much
MadaraUchiha said:Ah no I was just commenting on one aspect of it. AC is more of an episodic narrative, with one through line being them bettering themselves to murder Koro. I personally don't think it has interesting questions to ask, whereas MHA does, and it has done so consistently. Even now, with All Might's era coming to an end, it's at an interesting situation.
Star_Of_Hope said:I see. Well, I have enjoyed watching assassination classroom more than boku no hero academia first season.
I thought it was the same for you
MadaraUchiha said:Yeah but season 1 is more setup for the characters and the world, season 2 and onwards is when it truly shines. It's designed to go for a long time, whereas AC had a time-limit from episode 1 so while it was more focused it's also not as epic in scope as MHA.
