Are you worried Anime is becoming too westernized?

I have been hearing lots of arguments about this and I am interested to know what you thought of this. I think anime just keeps improving despite all the negative reviews.

Is there any particular difference? Apart from the few cultural references from time to time, I don't see the difference and we shouldn't give attention to the origin and differentiate them based on it.

i agree but anime had become even more popular world wide
and it shadowed a lot of original animated series

Its just more popular so more people are creating anime. If anything it's a good thing, now we have new and interesting stories. It's just new people coming in and adding their stories to the medium.
